Senior Project Manager - Aviation
Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. – Nashville, TN Pay Range
$120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Lead the successful development and implementation of multiple concurrent airside and landside capital projects at international airport facilities as part of the construction and program management team. Work with consultants, airport staff, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met for each assigned project. Manage staffing and workload through project development to complete projects on time and within budget. Review plans, develop cost estimates and projections, schedule and conduct design progress meetings, and prepare records required for Federal or state reimbursement. Ensure that construction contracts comply with applicable federal and state equal opportunity legislation. Coordinate activities with outside agencies to assure timely completion of all projects, compile and analyze technical data, and prepare reports concerning project related activities. Oversee Quality Assurance Review and implement QA/QC procedures, including training for personnel. Monitor safety compliance and contractor safety oversight. Oversee project closeout administration. Supervise project staff and mentor less experienced staff members. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering. PE license required. PMP certification preferred. 10-15 years of aviation-related engineering or construction management experience, including airport master planning and project management. Minimum 5 years of aviation design project management experience. Experience designing and managing aviation projects and developing plans, specifications, and estimates for airport agencies and private clients. Knowledge of FAA design standards, procedures, and policies. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation (HC1), MS Office, and MS Project preferred. Demonstrated business development and strategic planning skills desired. Strong communication, leadership, planning, and mentoring skills essential. Knowledge of the aviation market in Nashville including client relationships preferred. Commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture required.
