About Heritage Civil Works
At Heritage Civil Works, we engineer what the world relies on but rarely sees. We are a forward-thinking civil engineering firm that delivers advanced solutions through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling, physical modeling, and custom-built test hardware. Our clients span pollution control, biotechnology, power systems, and aerospace and we pride ourselves on designing systems that work in the most demanding environments.
We are currently looking for a Remote Civil Engineer who thrives in a collaborative, remote-first team and is driven to design infrastructure and systems that are both efficient and resilient.
Your Role As a Remote Civil Engineer with us, you'll play a key role in designing, analyzing, and improving physical systems across multiple industries. You'll work with simulation experts, modeling engineers, and clients to bring projects from concept to reality.
Your responsibilities will include:
Designing civil and structural systems aligned with performance, safety, and compliance standards
Performing engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis to validate system integrity
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on fluid modeling, load studies, and prototype testing
Reviewing and producing technical documentation, construction drawings, and specifications
Supporting CFD and physical modeling teams with infrastructure and layout design
Using engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, etc.) to deliver high-quality plans
Evaluating field data and simulation results to guide design improvements
Participating in virtual project meetings, design reviews, and remote brainstorming sessions
Staying up to date with new tools, codes, and best practices in civil systems engineering
Who We are Looking For You're a detail-driven engineer who thrives on solving real-world problems with practical solutions. You love systems that make sense and work every time.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters in Civil Engineering or a related field
3+ years of experience in civil design, structural analysis, or infrastructure planning
Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar
Understanding of structural analysis, site layout, grading, and drainage systems
Remote work experience or strong communication skills for async environments
Ability to convey complex technical info to team members, clients, and partners
Knowledge of codes and standards (ASCE, ACI, ASTM, etc.)
Bonus Skills:
Experience with CFD-based design environments
Familiarity with geotechnical or hydrology modeling
Previous experience with experimental hardware or physical models
Benefits
Remote Work wherever you thrive
Paid Time Off Recharge when you need it
Flexible Hours We care about outcomes, not hours
Growth & Development Opportunities for learning and mentorship
Strong Team Culture Transparent, respectful, and inclusive remote environment
How to Apply If you're excited by challenging projects and the opportunity to make real-world systems smarter, stronger, and more sustainable we want to meet you.
Apply with your resume and a short note on why you're a great fit. Let's build something that works.
Lets design the systems the world depends on.
At Heritage Civil Works, engineering isn't just about structures its about impact. Come design the future with us.
