Japanese major bank seeks a Market Risk Management Officer. This role is for Vice President level candidates.
Location: NYC (Manhattan)
Salary: $140K-$180K DOE (determined based on experience after interview)

This role is located in New York City and will require a hybrid work schedule of at least 2 days in office per week.
Your Role Overview Directs staff, develops strategy and controls execution of the Treasury Administrations function. Recommends objectives, policies and plans for market and liquidity risk management. Develops ways to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
Supervises the Treasury Administration members.
Design/maintain the data repository and standardized reports.
Supervises tasks assigned to Treasury Administration section. Provides feedback to Head of Department on quality and accuracy of work.
Provide support for obtaining and analyzing data related to credit portfolio and credit risk monitoring process.
Develop and calibrate assumptions and methodology for liquidity stress test and contingency funding plan test.
Design risk management framework.
Develop risk management policies and procedures.
Prepare and present monthly status of Branch risk and performance to management and Head Office.
Team with Business Continuity Management (BCM) to implement and maintain BCM Program by ensuring completion of business continuity deliverables for department such as regular review of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and BCP, testing of BC strategies, mitigation of identified resiliency risks, and promotion of Business Continuity awareness.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Your Qualifications
Masters degree or equivalent in statistics, economics or quantitative discipline.
CFA/FRM candidate or charter holder desired.
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access.
Modeling understanding and capabilities.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong quantitative and computer skills.
