Position Summary

In addition to overseeing the core operations of Zone Finance, this function serves as the company's analytical engine, delivering insights and strategic support to drive informed decision-making and achieve business objectives.

Financial Reporting, Analysis and Planning

Responsible for the accurate and timely management reporting to both the local team and headquarter.

Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.

Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.

Assist in managing the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools.

Monthly Financial reports

Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs as well as new projects

Analyze complex financial information and reports (routine or Ad hoc) to provide accurate, actionable, and timely financial recommendations to management and function heads for decision making purposes.

A&P Spending and Claim Process Control

Maintain and continuous enhancement of Advertisement & Promotion spending and claim control system and processes of U.S.; to ensure spending application is duly approved, claim submit on time, accrual made in compliance to LKK corporate policies and accounting policies. Prepare spending, claim rate report, and conduct necessary periodical meeting with Sales & marketing team to ensure all spending is tracked and closed on time.

Balance Sheet Management

Assist in managing balance sheet of the US companies to ensure healthy debts collection/ aging, Inventory holding, stock write off control and NRV provision, Payables, assets and equity.

Budget & Forecasting

Support and drive pro-actively where appropriate US annual budgetary and forecasting processes including long term strategic plan, prepare analysis and reporting templates superior for presentation and submission on timely basis

Coordinate budgetary planning with US Finance team, to facilitate

consolidation

into US efficiently within time limit and guidelines.

Business Partnering Support

Design and implement customized P&L structures for key areas, including customer-specific or product-specific views to enhance decision-making.

Support new product launches and business cases with financial insights.

Monitor A&P spending efficiency and providing financial insights to optimize investments.

Support & provide input for business decision making for business growth of US trading companies in financial and non-financial aspect within his capability, including analysis with relevant insight for identifying relevant Market weakness and opportunity for sales growth, productivity and profitability improvement.

Participate and/or lead relevant initiatives or projects cross functionally when required including profitability improvement, business processes improvement, Digital Transformation projects implementation, etc.

Assist in U.S. processes harmonization initiatives including A&P control, AR control, analysis and reporting practices, Internal control and others as assigned.

Provide support to subordinates and resolution of issues

Manage and organize his team toward efficient and sustainable set-up and structure, motivated and harmony environment; promote continuous self-enhancement and provide coaching/ guidance and opportunity for personal development.

Compliance & Internal Control

Ensure comply with corporate policies and procedures in relation to Accounts & Finance and applicable approved Accounting Standard Board/ Companies Act in U.S. & Canada. Keep abreast of, and inform the local team and headquarter of any changes in accounting, taxation and secretarial practices in the region

Jointly Assist in promulgating and upholding of internal controls; work with other team members from other functions, plan & control Finance policies and procedures to achieve company objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

At least 4 years’ working experience from FMCG

Demonstrate leadership skill and ability to work with minimum supervision

Highest standards of Integrity in work, highly organized and meticulous with data to bring out the insights for business

Ability to think Out-of-the-box, strive toward operation excellence

Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese.

Strong compliance with deadlines.

Able to communicate with all levels of management.
