Responsibilities:
Apply advanced engineering principles to conceptualize and design infrastructure for a range of projects.
Lead the development of civil site drawings, including comprehensive plans for site layout, grading, utilities, and drainage.
Evaluate and compare design alternatives, considering project limitations, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
Conduct thorough calculations and develop precise specifications for construction drawing sets.
Utilize cutting-edge computer-assisted engineering and design software to produce accurate and detailed engineering documents.
Create and review conceptual site layouts, ensuring compliance with local regulations and ordinances.
Collaborate with regulatory agencies to review and navigate requirements for planning, zoning, and building permits.
Oversee the collection and completion of permit documentation, ensuring timely approval.
Assume responsibility for signing and sealing drawings in adherence to regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Possession of a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university.
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the state of Texas is mandatory.
Demonstrated track record of at least 5 years in civil engineering design, showcasing expertise in infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in advanced engineering principles, techniques, and procedures, with a keen eye for detail.
Extensive experience with industry-leading computer-aided design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD-Civil 3D and MS Office applications.
Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
Reliable, dependable, and committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Working Conditions:
Engagement in a primarily stationary role at a desk, utilizing computing equipment and software tools for design and communication.
Communication and collaboration with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders via mobile devices or computer-based platforms.
Movement across various work environments, including office settings, construction sites, and project locations.
Occasional physical positioning under, around, or over equipment and site utilities.
Travel to project sites and client meetings as necessary.
Relocation assistance will be provided for the ideal candidate.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
