Our clientis seeking a Desktop Support to join their team. As a Desktop Supportyou will be part of the Imaging and Asset Management team supporting IT operations. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Desktop Support

Location: Wauwatosa, WI

What's the Job?

Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related support, providing tier 1 client support for technical issues.

Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.

Support hardware, software, printing, connectivity, mobile technology, and user setup and authorization.

Assist with refreshing PCs as part of the asset lifecycle program, ensuring equipment is up-to-date and functioning properly.

Address recurring issues through consistent ITIL practices to improve end-user computing experiences.

What's Needed?

6 months to 5 years of experience in desktop support, deploying devices, and on-the-fly device repairs.

Knowledge of workstation, printer, and peripheral maintenance and support skills.

Understanding of Client/Server environments and experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.

Solid understanding of Microsoft products, including Windows operating systems and Office applications.

Willingness to work onsite at the Milwaukee County Fleet location in Wauwatosa, WI, or relocate at own expense.
