Job Summary And Qualifications The staff physical therapist is responsible for the evaluation, assessment and treatment of a wide variety of patients, including, but not limited to patients with neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and other medical conditions in the areas of acute, subacute, rehabilitation and outpatient physical therapy. The role includes supervision of physical therapy assistants and rehab technicians. Evaluations and treatments must adhere to the rules and regulations of this facility, the Physical Therapy Practice Act, and the State of Nevada, Board of Professional Regulations. The therapist must demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development over the lifespan and assess and interpret data reflective of the patient’s medical status and age‑specific needs to provide appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations, without regard to race, color, sex, religion, or national origin.
Graduate of a licensed physical therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Maintain licensure by the State of Nevada as determined by the Nevada State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
One to two years’ experience in a clinical setting preferred; entry‑level graduates will be considered.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
