Job Summary
TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (IDD) for a part‑time weekend position in Hunterdon County, NJ. The role involves providing direct nursing care, administering medications, supporting daily living activities, maintaining medical and behavioral documentation, and ensuring compliance with state standards. The ideal candidate has experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Base Pay
$35.00/hr – $38.00/hr Schedule
Weekend shifts, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM (32 hours) Responsibilities
Provide Direct Nursing Care:
Administer medications, support health needs, and maintain accurate MAR documentation. Assist with Daily Living:
Help individuals with hygiene, meals, mobility, and personal care routines. Support Medical Oversight:
Attend appointments and follow treatment, diet, and exercise plans. Ensure Safety & Compliance:
Maintain a safe environment and complete required incident and behavioral documentation. Collaborate & Train:
Work with the IDT and assist in training support staff on health‑related procedures. Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current LPN certification. Licensure:
Active New Jersey LPN license required. Experience:
Minimum of 1 year working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD). Technical Skills:
Basic computer literacy required; knowledge of Therap or similar EHR platforms preferred. Skills & Attributes:
Compassion, reliability, professionalism, strong communication, multitasking, and documentation skills for fast‑paced or high‑pressure environments. Additional Requirements:
