Lead Licensed Clinical Social Worker, FT Days
In addition to the usual responsibilities as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, the Lead will assist department leadership on various department functions including a department performance improvement plan, development of care management programs and processes, education plan and training of staff, and provide instruction and guidance in the implementation of care management including discharge planning and care coordination to achieve a safe discharge plan for patients.
The Lead also has oversight of student internship and preceptor program, acting as a liaison to universities, coordinating orientation and ongoing education per the direction of management.
Additional duties include all other duties assigned by the management of the department.

Required Skills
Demonstrated ability to provide consultation and instruction to staff regarding assessment, intervention, planning, and evaluation of cases.
Ability to contribute to staff performance annual evaluation, perform staff competency evaluations, provide staff orientation and training.
Knowledge of legal regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of agency regulatory requirements, policies, and protocols.
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
Independent performer.
Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Required Experience
Active California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners.
Minimum 2 years of case management experience.
2 or more years of experience as a LCSW in healthcare.
Evidence of continuing education.
Must obtain ACM (Accredited Case Manager) certification within 3 years of employment.
Must obtain LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment (PHGSH only).
