Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs. Follow standards of safe radiation practice. Demonstrate leadership and act as a role model for other associate technologists. Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assure current standards of practice for the unit. Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra‑aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies. Schedule: Shifts during the week from 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Additional call required. Pay: $4.75 / hr IR/Cath‑Lab differential given upon hire. Pay range: $34.40 – $52.06 / hr. Requirements
1 year imaging experience, strongly preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's degree, strongly preferred. Registered Technologist, ARRT R.T. (R) or RCIS. Colorado Surgical Assistant License upon hire unless performing Surgical Assistant duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration (required for Colorado employed staff only). Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support through American Heart Association required. Physical Requirements
Medium work: able to exert up to 50 lb force occasionally, up to 20 lb frequently, and up to 10 lb constantly. Location – Longmont United Hospital
