Salary Range Starting salary ranges $75,000 – $90,000 annually for master's-level clinicians; $90,000 – $105,000 for doctoral-level clinicians (DOE). Hiring bonus available.
About the Role As a Geriatric Mental Health Therapist at ACP, you’ll deliver high-quality psychotherapy and mental health services to older adults experiencing diverse mental health challenges, including Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI), depression and anxiety, substance use disorders, cognitive decline and dementia, and complex medical and psychosocial issues.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide evidence-based therapy and mental health interventions.
Travel to various medical and community settings to reach clients who may have barriers to accessing traditional in‑office care.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
What We’re Looking For
Master’s or Doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
Active Minnesota license as an LICSW, LP, LMFT, or LPCC.
Strong clinical skills and a passion for working with geriatric populations.
Commitment to culturally responsive care and integrated health models.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
