About the job Mental Health Therapist- NY
Overview: As a Mental Health Therapist at our client, you will provide evidence-based treatment and mental health services primarily through telehealth. You will conduct intakes, therapy sessions, assessments, and maintain accurate documentation. This role offers a fully remote work environment with flexible scheduling and generous benefits. Mental Health Therapist must be licensed in the state of New York.
You choose if you want to commit to a 32 hr/wk or a 40 hr/wk schedule.
If you commit to a 40 hour work week the you would be scheduled to see 32 -34 patients a week with a base line thrush hall of being 23 patients and after seeing 23 patients every patient you see after the 23rd patient you get paid $60 per visit. As per this the example above if you were to see every patient you where scheduled to see (34 patients) you would earn $660 extra for that week on top of your base salary.
Qualifications Required
Masters degree or higher
Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW, LMFT or LMHC in the state of New York (NY)
If you are an LMHC, must have Diagnostic privileges
Access to a computer, webcam, reliable internet connection, and private, quiet space for sessions
1 year of relevant experience
Seeking full-time hours
Preferred
1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
Telehealth Experience
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Evidence-Based Practice
Outpatient Experience
Certifications/Languages: Please list any relevant certifications or languages
Key Responsibilities
Rendering evidence-based treatment to a spectrum of patients.
Providing an array of mental health services to promote individualized patient recovery primarily through telehealth video or telephone.
Conducting intakes, individual, group, and family therapy when applicable.
Providing mental health assessments, counseling, referrals, and intervention services.
Completing and maintaining documentation in a timely and accurate manner and according to Federal, State, and company guidelines.
Schedule and Shift Details
Fully remote, flexible scheduling. Therapist can make their own schedule between hours of 7a-9p EST, 7 days a week. Therapist MUST work until 8pm, 2 days per week OR 4 - 4hr shifts on the weekends. No on-call required.
