Our client is seeking a Medical Assistant. The candidate is responsible for assisting with all functions associated with the front office and as a member of patient care team. These duties include scheduling, coordinating patient services, performing check‑in procedures, patient preparation, recording vitals and medical history, instrument care, and a variety of front office tasks in a clinical setting. The employee must be an effective communicator both written and verbal and have the ability to work effectively with medical staff, authorizations, external agencies, and patients.

Role and Responsibilities The candidate will be an essential part of the patient care team, providing support to providers and clinical staff. Key responsibilities include managing clinic workflows, performing patient intake, scheduling appointments, preparing for in‑office procedures, documenting in the electronic medical record (EMR), caring for medical instruments, and completing various administrative duties in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

Assist with all functions associated with the front office and as a member of the patient care team.

Schedule, coordinate patient services, perform check‑in procedures, patient preparation, record vitals and medical history, and care for medical instruments.

Support providers and clinical staff as a key member of the patient care team.

Coordinate clinic workflow, perform patient intake, schedule patient services, prepare for in‑office procedures, document in EMR, and perform various administrative tasks.

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with medical staff, authorization teams, external agencies, and patients.

Demonstrated interest in healthcare, dedication to providing exceptional patient care, and the ability to maintain professionalism when working with patients, the clinical team, office staff, and external organizations.

Education Requirements

Work authorization

High school or equivalent

Certified Medical Assistant

BLS Certification

Healthcare experience (Preferred)
