seeking an experienced

Aseptic Process Engineer

to lead technical innovation and continuous improvement efforts in aseptic processing and packaging. This is a high-impact engineering role supporting plant operations, capital projects, and long-term product strategy across a variety of liquid food categories.

About the Role: As the

Aseptic Process Engineer , you’ll provide critical support for aseptic processing and packaging initiatives. You’ll work hands‑on with plant operations, R&D, and corporate engineering to optimize existing lines and bring new product concepts to life. The role spans process design, technical troubleshooting, capital planning, and vendor collaboration — all with a focus on food safety, system reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead aseptic process design and optimization for dairy, juice, concentrates, and other liquid foods

Partner in shaping the company’s aseptic product strategy through engineering and process innovation

Prepare process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment layouts for new or modified lines

Drive troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical resolution on production issues

Evaluate and present new processing and packaging technologies to support portfolio expansion

Manage capital projects including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and execution oversight

Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and all applicable food safety and regulatory standards

Participate in industry trade shows and conferences to stay ahead of emerging technology

Support and improve site‑level SQF and GMP systems; incorporate food safety into all engineering designs

Lead or assist with cost-benefit analyses, feasibility studies, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field (required)

6+ years of progressive engineering experience in food/beverage or dairy manufacturing

3+ years of hands‑on experience with

aseptic dairy or beverage processing

Capital project management experience, including projects >$1M

Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools

Familiarity with hygienic design standards, food safety, and regulatory requirements

Bonus Points For:

Experience with extended shelf‑life (ESL), ultra‑clean, or hot fill technologies

Dairy, beverage, or juice industry experience preferred

Knowledge of food allergen handling and sanitary system design
