Role Overview
Join the New Product Launch team at Project Kuiper as a Test Engineer, where you will play a critical role in validating and deploying next-generation satellite communication solutions. You will own the planning and end-to-end validation of hardware and software products, leveraging modern tools, automation, and AI-driven methods to ensure readiness for major service launches and new hardware releases.
This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at solving complex challenges, and is passionate about building reliable systems that work in real-world conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute end-to-end validation for Kuiper’s customer-facing hardware, software, and systems.
Develop, enhance, and automate validation processes using advanced tools, AI methods, and industry best practices.
Ensure new products meet key milestones for readiness, performance, and reliability.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and improve system behavior in real-world operating scenarios.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering, product, and operations teams.
Contribute to foundational mechanisms and processes that will shape Kuiper’s future system validation roadmap.
Support the launch and deployment of innovative LEO satellite communication technologies.
Basic Qualifications
Strong experience in system testing, product validation, or hardware/software test engineering.
Proven ability to execute complex test plans effectively and deliver results under tight timelines.
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, validation tools, scripting, or AI-driven test optimization.
Excellent problem-solving and technical debugging skills.
Ability to work in an innovative, fast-paced environment and drive results independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with satellite systems, wireless communication, networking, or embedded systems.
Background in New Product Introduction (NPI) or large-scale system validation.
Familiarity with data analysis tools, hardware test equipment, or cloud-based automation workflows.
