About the job Speech Language Pathologist
We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school team. The successful candidate will provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders, promoting their academic success and social participation. Responsibilities: Evaluate and assess students' communication skills, identifying strengths and challenges Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve students' speech, language, and communication skills Provide speech and language therapy sessions to students, focusing on articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate speech-language pathology into the educational environment Develop and implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems as needed Educate parents and caregivers on strategies to support their child's communication development Monitor students' progress and report findings to educators, parents, and other relevant parties Facility: San Juan BOCES Shift: Days [full-time, 35hrs] $100 gas incentive (one time) Duration: 42 weeks * Health Insurance (Dental, Vision, Medical)
