About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Real Estate Attorney
to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide legal counsel and support on a wide range of real estate transactions and matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position offers flexibility with remote work, requiring in-office presence
every other week .
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts, leases, purchase agreements, and related documents.
Advise on property acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and development projects.
Conduct title reviews, resolve title issues, and coordinate closings.
Ensure compliance with Florida real estate laws and regulations.
Provide legal guidance on zoning, land use, and permitting matters.
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to facilitate transactions.
Conduct client consultations as needed for real estate matters in a professional and courteous manner.
Document all consultations in our CRM system (MyCase), including detailed notes, tasks to move the case forward, billing requests, and any other pending items related to the consultation.
Meet or exceed revenue and production goals by effectively managing billable hours, timely invoicing, and ensuring accurate billing entries for all client work.
Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with real estate operations.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD)
from an accredited law school.
Active Florida Bar license
in good standing (required).
Minimum
3–5 years of experience
in real estate law, including transactional work.
Strong knowledge of Florida real estate statutes and regulations.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with commercial real estate transactions.
Familiarity with title insurance and closing processes.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Work Arrangement
Remote work
with required travel to the office
once every other week .
Must be based in
Florida .
