Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Building Automation / DDC Controls Technician
to join our team. In this
full-time, client facility based
role, you’ll be responsible for the
programming, installation, servicing, and maintenance
of Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) at our customers' commercial facilities.
This opportunity may be assigned to a single site as a dedicated, on-location technician, providing consistent, hands‑on support to that facility.

No Overtime or On-Call Requirements
– Unlike almost all HVAC positions, this role does not require you to work after hours or be on an on-call rotation, which offers you a better work‑life balance.
Single‑Site Work
– You’ll be assigned to one site every day, reducing the stress and unpredictability of traveling to multiple locations.
Fixed Schedule During Normal Hours
– You’ll have a steady, reliable schedule that avoids the long or irregular hours that are common in this industry.

Key Responsibilities
Interface professionally with commercial building customers and contractors.
Program and install BAS and DDC control systems.
Perform scheduled and routine maintenance on BAS components including front-end systems, DDC controllers, and end devices.
Respond to service calls (emergency, on-site, and remote support).
Troubleshoot and repair control systems and connected devices.
Back up controller programs and BAS computers/servers.
Use maintenance software to document services and manage work orders.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience installing and programming BAS & DDC control systems.
H.S. Diploma or GED Equivalent, Associates degree preferred
Computer literate, including Windows and Office Suite
Test and Balance experience preferred
Fume Hood experience preferred
TEL, Triatek, and/or Metasys controls experience preferred
