Mechanical Assembly Technician
Responsibilities
Perform complex and advanced assembly of products according to established specifications and instructions
Mechanical Assemblers assist with the design, development, integration, build, and deployment of production automation equipment
Identify and solve problems related to defective components, products, and equipment
Ensure components conform to specifications
Document and maintain manufacturing procedures as required
Diagnose and troubleshoot defects and errors in components
Install electro‑mechanical components as required
Follow verbal and written work instructions provided by engineers
Assemble standardized mechanical units with precision and attention to detail
Package and prepare finished products for transportation
Lifting up to 50 lbs
Perform all other duties as assigned or directed
Job Requirements
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Associate Degree desired)
High level of mechanical aptitude with 2+ years of assembly, auto maintenance, or mechanic experience preferred
Proficient in reading maintenance manuals, blueprints, and/or product specification documents
Competency in fundamental mechanical assembly
Familiarity with and safe operation of common shop tools (saws, drills, sanders, grinders, hand tools)
Experience or willingness to learn rigging and safely moving large assemblies (Forklift experience desired)
Electrical wiring and assembly experience is a plus
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Ability to pass background screening and drug testing

Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. 9 hours per day with every other Friday off (hours can be flexible)
Pay $20.00 to $25.00/hr, DOE
Location Located in Lakewood, near 6th Ave & Kipling
Drug & background screen required (THC not included for pre‑employment drug screen)
