About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Inspector - Site to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of electrical installations on various construction sites throughout the region.
Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems and components on construction sites to ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards
Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications for accuracy and adherence to regulations
Perform comprehensive tests on electrical installations using specialized equipment to verify safety and functionality
Identify and document electrical deficiencies, code violations, and potential safety hazards
Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve electrical issues and ensure timely project completion
Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all inspections and findings
Stay up-to-date with changes in electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices
Provide expert guidance and recommendations to improve electrical safety and efficiency on construction sites
Participate in pre-construction meetings to discuss electrical requirements and potential challenges
Ensure strict compliance with UAE electrical standards and regulations
Travel to various construction sites within the UAE as required
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field
Proficiency in electrical codes and standards, including in-depth knowledge of UAE electrical regulations
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and components
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Proven experience working on construction sites
Advanced familiarity with testing equipment and inspection tools
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant inspection software
Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety and quality
Comprehensive knowledge of construction industry regulations and safety standards
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
Willingness to travel to various construction sites within the UAE
Valid UAE driver's license
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams
