The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and providing tax planning support to individuals and/or businesses.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and/or trust tax returns
Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations
Research tax issues and provide recommendations to minimize tax liabilities
Assist with tax planning and forecasting
Communicate with clients regarding tax matters and documentation requirements
Respond to tax authority inquiries and audits, if needed
Maintain accurate and organized tax records
Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and accounting standards
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of experience in tax accounting or public accounting
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
Experience with tax software
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and analytical abilities
