Treasury Management customer setup & configuration
In addition, the Electronic Banking Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining documented procedures to address the functions noted above, and training other members of the Operations/Cash Management teams, as appropriate.
Automated Clearing House (ACH)
Review daily ACH reports: Invalid Prenotes, ACH Returns & Corrections, ACH Death Notifications Entries, Process all returns related to government benefits; Reclamations, DNE entries.
Serve as the primary contact for employees with ACH questions and research; Assist branch personnel with proper forms for return of unauthorized or stopped ACH transactions.
Process all requests for ACH company setup and maintenance, including temporary and permanent ACH limit increases.
Complete ACH unauthorized item returns, breach of warranty claims in a timely manner.
Complete daily Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) review and certification for ACH (a.m. & p.m.).
Wires
Process all requests related to domestic and foreign wire company set‑ups, ensuring accurate setup and maintenance; Manage the modification of wire limits for companies, accounts, and users.
Treasury Management (TM)
Be the primary contact to assist Treasury Management Specialists with Cash Management/TM customer setups, training and troubleshooting.
Assist Cash Management Specialists to develop/test TM feature functionality; open support cases, follow up/escalate with Service Providers as appropriate.
Review and respond to treasury management messages and/or send them on to the appropriate department in a timely manner.
Positive Pay, Sweeps, Account Analysis
Process all requests related to Positive Pay set‑ups and maintenance, ensuring timely and accurate execution of customer requests.
Serve as the backup for setup and ongoing maintenance of sweep accounts, ensuring that all procedures align with company and regulatory standards.
Other Responsibilities
Serve as backup for operations staff and assist in daily Operations task completion.
Serve as a backup to the Electronic Banking Specialist II to prepare required documents for annual internal/external audits, regulatory exams, and risk assessments.
Active participation in demonstrating the behaviors outlined in the GRB Experience.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Associate degree required, preferably in a business‑related discipline; (bachelor's degree preferred) with a minimum of three years' banking experience, preferably in banking operations, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certification as an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) is required; individuals not possessing this accreditation at the time of hire must become certified within two years.
