About the Role We are seeking a
hands‑on accounting leader
to join a confidential family office in West Los Angeles. This is a unique opportunity to
build accounting infrastructure from the ground up
while managing day‑to‑day operations across multiple domestic and international entities. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in entrepreneurial, confidential environments and is motivated by the chance to grow with the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead
AP/AR, invoicing, and monthly close
processes.
Design and implement
bespoke accounting systems and reporting structures .
Partner with external accounting firms while transitioning key functions in‑house.
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness of financial reporting.
Integrate and streamline processes across multiple entities.
Explore and leverage
modern tools and AI‑driven solutions
to improve efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience:
~8–12 years in accounting/finance roles, ideally with exposure to family offices, private equity, or multi‑entity structures.
Background:
Controller or Senior Accounting Manager level; comfortable being hands‑on while building scalable systems.
Technical Skills:
Strong accounting fundamentals, ERP/QuickBooks/NetSuite/Datafaction experience, and ability to implement new systems.
Credentials:
CPA preferred but not required. Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Traits:
Detail‑oriented, adaptable, and motivated to grow with a family office.
