A well‑established and growing organization in the Greater Philadelphia area is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to support its expanding operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, improving processes, and partnering across the business to ensure strong financial discipline.
Responsibilities
Lead core accounting activities, including monthly and annual close tasks
Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and detailed supporting analyses
Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to GAAP and company accounting policies
Coordinate with auditors by providing schedules, documentation, and explanations as needed
Support variance analysis and help explain financial trends to leadership
Participate in initiatives aimed at improving systems, automation, and overall process efficiency
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2+ years of experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
