Key Responsibilities Strategic Marketing Leadership

Develop and execute a multi-year marketing strategy aligned with Delta ModTech’s long-term growth objectives in medical devices, battery manufacturing, and advanced packaging.

Define and evolve the brand architecture to reflect both converting and coating capabilities, ensuring clear differentiation from commodity equipment manufacturers.

Conduct segmentation and market analysis to identify high-value verticals and develop targeted go-to-market strategies for each segment.

Partner with executive leadership to support new market expansion, European growth, and emerging opportunities such as advanced battery applications.

Brand, Positioning & Thought Leadership

Build a modern industrial brand that honors Delta ModTech’s heritage while elevating our presence across global markets.

Lead the development of messaging frameworks, value propositions, and technical narratives that resonate with engineering, operations, and C-suite buyers.

Establish a robust thought leadership program featuring white papers, technical content, case studies, conference engagements, and media relationships.

Amplify the expertise of internal engineering and technology leaders to influence the market and accelerate trust-building.

Demand Generation & Digital Marketing

Transform deltamodtech.com into a high-performing digital demand engine focused on education, qualification, and early-stage engagement.

Oversee digital programs including SEO/SEM, email marketing, automation workflows, analytics, and content marketing.

Build multi-channel campaigns that support long sales cycles (12–24 months) and nurture prospects across complex buying journeys.

Recommend account-based marketing strategies for priority accounts in collaboration with sales.

Sales Alignment & Revenue Enablement

Work closely with the Sales Leader to align funnel definitions, lead qualification processes, and service-level expectations.

Create sales enablement tools including product sheets, ROI calculators, presentations, and competitive positioning resources.Drive shared accountability for pipeline and revenue outcomes.

Customer Experience & Market Feedback

Partner with Service and R&D to capture insights into customer needs, competitive activity, product performance, and emerging applications.

Build customer reference and advocacy programs that support credibility in complex sales cycles.

Contribute to post-acquisition integration planning and communication, supporting brand transitions and market messaging.

Team Leadership & Organizational Development

Build and lead a high-performing marketing team across product marketing, content strategy, digital demand generation, and marketing operations.

Determine the right mix of internal talent and agency partnerships to scale efficiently.

Implement marketing systems including CRM optimization, marketing automation, and analytics dashboards.

Establish performance measurement frameworks that clearly demonstrate marketing’s contribution to growth.

Qualifications & Experience

12–18 years of progressive B2B marketing leadership experience in industrial automation, capital equipment, advanced manufacturing, or similar technical environments.

Demonstrated success building or transforming a marketing function at a growing mid-size organization ($50M–$500M).

Strong experience in long-cycle, multi-stakeholder B2B marketing within regulated industries (capital equipment highly valued).

Expertise in digital demand generation, account-based marketing, product marketing, and brand positioning.

Ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear, compelling technical marketing content.

Strong analytical skills, including comfort with KPIs, dashboards, campaign measurement, and ROI analysis.

Experience managing agency partners, vendor relationships, and industry associations.

Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and build new operational infrastructure.

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; able to partner effectively with engineering, R&D, service, finance, and executive leadership.

Leadership style consistent with a family-owned culture: collaborative, humble, customer-focused, and able to modernize while honoring tradition.

Location & Compensation This role is based at our Ramsey, Minnesota headquarters, with periodic travel to customers, industry events, and European operations. Delta ModTech offers a competitive compensation package aligned with senior marketing leadership roles in industrial manufacturing, including performance-based incentives tied to marketing and company growth.

Salary Range: $170,000 - $195,000 per year (DOE - Depending on Experience)
