Overview Oversee Paraeducator I and II and, under the direction of the Education Director, oversee the operation of the campus during the education hours.
Responsibilities
Supervise Paraeducator I and II staff during school hours
Ensure student safety, dignity, and engagement in a therapeutic learning environment
Oversee implementation of behavior support plans and Safety Care practices
Manage daily staff schedules and ensure required staffing ratios
Support staff training, performance evaluations, and coaching
Act as campus “in‑charge” during assigned shifts, including school closures or holidays
Communicate student needs to appropriate staff and advocate for individualized supports
Distribute prescribed medications as trained and authorized as needed
Respond appropriately to crises and maintain a calm, structured atmosphere
Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least two years of childcare experience.
Experience in health and human services or a related field is a plus.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
