Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to design, implement, monitor, and maintain secure network infrastructures. The role focuses on protecting systems and data from cyber threats while ensuring network availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage network security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
Monitor network traffic and investigate security incidents.
Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Configure and maintain security devices such as firewalls, routers, and switches.
Implement security policies, procedures, and standards.
Respond to security breaches and conduct root cause analysis.
Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with IT and SOC teams to improve security posture.
Maintain documentation for network security architecture and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
3+ years of experience in network security or cybersecurity roles.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
Hands‑on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, Check Point).
Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL).
Knowledge of IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and network monitoring.
Familiarity with security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS.
Understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.

CCNA / CCNP Security
CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
CISSP
CompTIA Security+
