Wound Treatment Nurse

is currently seeking a Part‑time Wound/Treatment Nurse to work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during day shift. Applicants must hold an RN or LPN license.
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the RN and/or LPN will:
Plan, coordinate, and provide skin-wound nursing care, services, and health education to residents.
Supervise the care services provided by CNAs.
Coordinate nursing care of residents on the unit, ensuring all assigned staff can provide appropriate care.
Provide safe and accurate wound‑related interventions.
Accurately transcribe and coordinate implementation of physician orders.
Perform nursing assessments of skin/health status; notify physician of changes and implement new orders.
Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize or prevent complications.
Contribute to resident assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and care plan development.
The position requires patience, compassion, and a gentle, empathetic approach to resident care.
