About the Role:
Gottfried Construction, LLC is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our dynamic team in Baton Rouge, LA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our projects, ensuring the installation and maintenance of piping systems that meet our high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems in various construction projects. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures. Perform welding and soldering tasks to connect piping components securely. Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and other malfunctions. Collaborate with other trades to ensure seamless project execution. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Provide guidance and training to apprentices and junior fitters as needed. Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter or similar role in the construction industry. Valid pipefitting certification or relevant trade license preferred. Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques, materials, and safety standards. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. About Us:
