Role Responsibilities
Partnering with veterinarians to provide excellent medical care, advocate for pets, and educate clients
Assisting with surgeries, procedures, and treatments in alignment with RVT credentialed duties
Supporting smooth patient flow and enhancing team efficiency through proactive communication
Guiding clients through individualized health concerns, treatment plans, medications, and Thrive Membership benefits
Maintaining accurate, thorough medical records
Obtaining detailed patient histories and documenting findings
Ensuring safety and organization through proper restraint and maintaining clean, sterile, well-organized workspaces
Mentoring and supporting teammates to help build a collaborative, uplifting environment
Experience & Skills
Is personable, collaborative, and genuinely team-focused with high emotional intelligence
Demonstrates empathy, compassion, and excellent communication skills
Has at least one year of experience in a veterinary hospital
Holds a current CA RVT license
Is proficient in veterinary procedures and terminology
Can safely handle, lift, and restrain a variety of animal species
Is skilled in venipuncture, radiology, IV catheter placement, drug calculations, and medication/fluid administration
Possesses strong organizational and computer skills
