Responsibilities
Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
Direct and guide patient/family teaching and coordinate activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining ICU standards of care.
Communicate with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and diagnostic study results.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or treatment response.
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
Current and valid state RN license.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
Minimum one year as a staff RN in an acute‑care hospital; critical care preferred.
Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
