We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our professional team at

Sigma Health Rehab . The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong background in Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), and a passion for improving the lives of our patients.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) responsibilities include:

Carrying out the best practices treatments under the supervision of the OT

Provides treatment based on the specific goals of the OT

Must give feedback to the supervising OT through documentation or other methods per facility policy

Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation

Work together with the team to provide personalized care

Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Qualifications/Requirements:

Must have

graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant college or university.

Must hold

a valid professional license and registration for the state of NY

Preferred

experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care

Preferred

well versed with documentation writing
