Position: Urgent Care Physician

Position Overview: As an Urgent Care Physician, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients of all ages with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. You will work closely with a team of medical professionals to diagnose and treat patients, as well as provide preventive care and health education. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and lab work
Prescribe medications and provide patient education on medication usage and side effects
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities
Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited medical school
Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of South Carolina
Board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care or a related field
Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a high volume of patients
Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
