Responsibilities
Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking dynamic professionals to join our team as experienced PRN Registered Nurses (RN).
The Registered Nurse (RN) is the clinical staff member who has interaction with patients on a daily basis. They present good communication and observation skills as well as the ability to accurately process and document information. The RN provides structure and safety to the milieu environment as directed by hospital and unit procedures and manages patient behavior effectively. The RN develops and maintains a therapeutic relationship throughout the healthcare continuum.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Demonstrate leadership in organizing the delivery of patient care in an acute psychiatric setting, addressing a wide range of psychiatric conditions.
Serve as a nursing resource for staff, assist in teaching patients, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
Actively and constructively participate as a member of the multi‑disciplinary treatment team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
About Spring Mountain Treatment Center Spring Mountain Behavioral Services has provided mental health services to the Las Vegas community since 2001, treating children, teens, adults and senior adults with behavioral health or addiction issues. We offer a supportive and healthy environment with 24‑hour care that allows people of all ages to make positive changes in their lives. The primary location, Spring Mountain Treatment Center, focuses on the stabilization of acute symptoms for patients age 5 to 65, along with select outpatient care programs for teens. The secondary location, Spring Mountain Sahara, houses our Adult Outpatient and Senior Adult Inpatient programs.
Spring Mountain Treatment Center is a 110‑bed mental health facility that provides acute crisis stabilization services for adults, teens, and children in a secure inpatient setting. Our individualized treatment includes a structured, therapeutic environment, intensive physician involvement and oversight, and daily group and educational programs. We provide a caring and healthy environment that gives individuals a chance to make positive changes.

Qualifications
Current Nevada RN licensure.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum one year of RN experience required; experience in a psychiatric setting highly preferred.
Obtain BLS Basic Life Support certification.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Understand and honor the established hospital rules, regulations and policies and procedures.
Good communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
Good leadership qualities including self‑control, patience, and empathy.
Must successfully pass background check (including criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check).
New hires required to attend a full week of New Employee Orientation on day shift (normal schedule 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday‑Friday).
