Job Responsibilities
Charge nurse responsible for the nursing care of patients on your shift.
Follow the Comprehensive Care Plan for each patient and assist the Unit Manager with thorough and accurate documentation in the patient record when needed.
Supervise the direct resident care personnel on your shift.
Qualifications & Requirements
Licensed nurse in the State of Indiana.
Passionate about serving others.
Professional in appearance and behavior.
Able to work with a dedicated team.
Successfully complete pre‑employment process and screening.
Pass the physical examination required for gainful employment within the facility.
Professional manner and appearance.
Job Knowledge
Familiarity with nursing policies and procedures.
Administration of medication, awareness of possible side effects, treatment administration, and knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to resident care.
Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices.
Understanding of the physical, psychological, social and medical needs of residents.
Understanding of the organizational structure and duties of employees under the supervision of the unit manager.
Other Skills
Competent in supervision and leadership.
Caring attitude.
Observant.
Foster and maintain a good working relationship with other staff.
Good judgement and emotional stability.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Exposure Category
Tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
