Responsibilities

Problem Solving: Demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills to address emergent patient needs efficiently.

Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions.

Assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify urgent medical needs.

Prioritization: Prioritize patient care activities based on acuity and urgency.

Risk Assessment: Assess and mitigate potential risks to patient safety.

Equipment Operation: Demonstrate proficiency in operating medical equipment in emergency settings.

Skill Proficiency: Maintain competency in emergency nursing skills.

Teamwork: Collaborate closely with physicians and ancillary staff.

Initiative: Take initiative to identify opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum one year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred.

PALS within 6 month required.

TNCC within 1 year required.

Essential: RN - Registered Nurse

Essential: BLS - Basic Life Saving certification

Education

Essential: RN Diploma/RN Graduate Program
