Bachelors and 3 years of experience in an Azure environment. CompTIA Security+. Position Description
The Cloud Engineer will maintain an efficient and cost-effective migration of data, applications, and other technologies from an on-premises platform to a cloud-based infrastructure. Responsibilities include: Migrating data from on-premises or legacy systems to the Cloud Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive Monitor system health and troubleshoot technical issues Conduct risk assessments Identify technical requirements Manage project timelines Identify and recommend opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment Work with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met during and after migration Provide post-migration support and address any issues that arise Document configurations, processes, and procedures Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts Implement security and compliance policies Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing Ensure seamless integration, security, and optimal performance of Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive Mandatory Skills
Cloud Architecture Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues PowerShell (proficiency and scripting) Experience as an M365 Engineer, Cloud Engineer or similar role with focus on M365 and Azure Proven experience with Azure cloud services and migration projects Python Self‑organization and prioritization Analytical and problem‑solving abilities Knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices Organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms, including identity management, authentication and security controls Understanding of cloud security, compliance and governance Seniority level
