You manage and deliver services across Industries such as Utilities, Energy, Chemicals, and Natural Resources, developing security strategies, managing risk, and enabling regulatory compliance. Your expertise spans IT and OT environments, guiding clients through complex challenges and advising on best practices aligned with business strategy.
The Work As a Cybersecurity Senior Manager you will lead and manage complex information security engagements, provide subject‑matter expertise, and drive project delivery. You will be the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, senior practitioners, and third‑party teams. You will mentor junior staff, shape solutions, and ensure outcomes are met. You will work closely with our Industry team to innovate and design future‑ready cybersecurity solutions.
Develop and sustain strategic relationships with clients in the Utilities, Energy, Chemicals, and Natural Resources industries.
Drive and oversee strategic initiatives, delivering high‑impact solutions in cybersecurity, advanced AI, risk management, and compliance.
Offer deep industry insights and strategic analysis to shape client strategies.
Collaborate with clients to craft forward‑thinking strategies that enhance operational efficiency, optimize costs, and elevate production capabilities.
Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of high performance and strategic thinking.
Provide leadership and mentorship, ensuring successful cybersecurity outcomes.
Develop and present strategic insights and progress reports to senior client stakeholders.
Align security initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Lead end‑to‑end cybersecurity strategy and execution across industrial and enterprise environments (OT/ICS, IT, cloud).
Advise C‑suite on integrating risk management into operational resilience and M&A due diligence.
Oversee large‑scale transformation programs focused on secure OT/IT convergence and threat detection modernization.
Drive industry‑specific threat modeling and incident response readiness.
Collaborate with partners and vendors to implement scalable cybersecurity architectures for digitalization and energy transition initiatives.
Represent Accenture Security in client engagements and leadership forums.
Partner with additional industry teams to develop differentiated go‑to‑market solutions.
Establish trusted relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to align security initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Lead end‑to‑end cybersecurity strategy across industrial and enterprise environments, ensuring compliance with frameworks such as NERC CIP, NIS2, and CIRCIA.
Advise leaders on integrating risk management into operational resilience, M&A planning, and sustainability initiatives.
Oversee large‑scale transformation programs focused on secure OT/IT convergence and threat detection modernization.
Drive threat modeling and incident response readiness aligned with sector intelligence.
Collaborate with partners and vendors to design scalable cybersecurity architectures for safe digitalization and energy transition initiatives.
Represent Accenture Security in client engagements, proposals, and leadership forums.
Partner with industry teams to develop new go‑to‑market solutions for clients.
Here’s What You Need
Minimum 8 years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and managing cybersecurity solutions across domains such as strategy, security operations, risk management, digital identity, network security, vulnerability management, data protection, cloud security, and OT security.
Minimum 5 years of experience leading a team and performing leadership roles (planning, managing, delivery).
Minimum 5 years delivering security solutions for the Utilities, Energy, Chemicals, and Natural Resources industries.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience). If an Associate’s degree, at least 6 years of experience.
Preferred certifications: CISM, CISSP, CRISC, TOGAF, SABSA.
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks including TSA, NERC‑CIP, and NRC 10 CFR.
Compensation Accenture’s compensation varies by location, role, skill set, and level of experience. We provide a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below. Climate, benefits, and salary ranges are available upon request.
