First Shift Responsibilities: Plan, design, and execute experiments of considerable scope and complexity in the assigned research lab focusing on aspects related to autoimmunity. Collect and analyze data for research sponsored by appropriate agencies and institutions. Identify and select problems to be studied. Develop and troubleshoot new experimental techniques and protocols. Attend research seminars. Contribute to manuscript preparation and support technical writing. Participate in preparation of grant applications for extramural funding. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Doctoral degree in Biological Sciences. Successful completion of a background check required. May be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including drug screen. Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
