Advanced Practice Provider – Dermatology (Private Practice)
We are seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to join our team! As a provider with Elite Dermatology, you will see several patients each day, review their medical history, conduct or prescribe tests as necessary, diagnose and treat the patient, prescribe medication, and offer lifestyle advice to prevent further issues.
The ideal candidate has a compassionate, patient‑focused approach, is comfortable seeing multiple patients in a single day, and has excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Responsibilities
Warmly greet and welcome each patient, making them feel comfortable in a normally uncomfortable situation
Order tests and interpret the results, providing clarity to the patient
Diagnose and treat patient issues, which may include minor skin surgery, prescribing medication, or offering lifestyle changes
Maintain excellent records of patient interactions, medical issues, and treatment solutions
Qualifications
Must be able to legally practice medicine within the state of New Mexico
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to read and interpret test results and effectively communicate them to a patient
