The community is conveniently located an hour from Orlando’s airports, shopping, attractions, and theme parks. Housekeeping Manager Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and supervise all housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure timely and high-quality cleaning services. Conduct regular inspections of apartments, common areas, and Health Center rooms to ensure standards are met. Hire, train, schedule, evaluate, and discipline housekeeping and laundry staff. Develop and maintain cleaning schedules for routine and special projects (e.g., deep cleaning, move‑in/move‑out refurbishing). Coordinate apartment refurbishing and renovation cleaning with the Plant Operations Department. Ensure proper usage and maintenance of housekeeping and laundry equipment. Maintain accurate records, reports, inventories, and safety documentation. Monitor departmental compliance with all infection control and safety policies. Test and evaluate new cleaning products and equipment to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Manage supply levels and order necessary chemicals, equipment, and materials. Assist in preparing and managing the department budget; operate within financial guidelines. Fill in and perform housekeeping duties as needed to ensure continuous service coverage. Coordinate with other departments to support resident satisfaction and community‑wide initiatives. Participate in community committees, training sessions, and leadership meetings as assigned. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Plant Operations. Hospitality Focus

High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or certification in housekeeping management or institutional cleaning preferred. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive housekeeping experience, including supervisory responsibilities. Knowledge of housekeeping operations, infection control, and chemical safety required. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to make independent decisions, analyze data, and improve departmental performance. Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality environment strongly preferred. Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

Must be able to move throughout the building and grounds regularly. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Good visual and hearing acuity required; effective verbal communication essential. May be exposed to cleaning chemicals, communicable diseases, and unpleasant odors. Compensation
