Client Service Representative (Second Shift)
PetVet Care Centers' Carolina Veterinary Specialists – Charlotte is currently seeking a Client Service Representative (Second Shift) to join our team. Base Pay Range $15.00/hr - $18.00/hr
Duties and Responsibilities
Greet clients in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
Answer a multi-line phone system and direct calls accordingly
Obtain medical and other information from referring veterinarians
Schedule and confirm appointments
Check‑in patients in the hospital according to schedule and prepare patient files
Notify appropriate departments when patients arrive
Scan or otherwise record medical records
Ensure the lobby and reception areas are organized and neat, including stocking and cleaning beverage areas for clients
Fax, file, and distribute faxes and other documents
Obtain deposits and payments from clients
Manage client admission and check‑out
Use system email
Print and distribute daily schedules
Process credit applications
Mail out prescriptions
Schedule
Full‑time, Swing Shift, Monday through Friday from 2 pm – 10 pm
Competencies / Requirements
At least 1 year of relevant experience (2+ years preferred)
Customer Service, Multi‑Tasking, Cash Handling, Professional Appearance
Smiles and Positive Attitude, Computer and Business System Proficiency
Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Phone System Experience
Experience With
Veterinary environment, terminology, and protocols
Working effectively as a team
Organization skills
Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Skills
