Position The
Area Sales Manager
will oversee membership growth and retention initiatives at two studios in Ann Arbor while working directly with the District Manager and two small sales teams. This position is hybrid and will be based in Ann Arbor, MI.
Requirements
2+ years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience preferred
Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training
Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
Must have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person and over the phone
Must be solution-based and results oriented, competitive spirit
Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement
An affinity and passion for fitness
Solid writing and grammar skills
Professional, punctual, reliable and neat and organized
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public
Proficiency with computers and Studio software
College Degree Preferred but not required
Responsibilities
Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing and networking
Implement sales process to schedule prospects into introductory classes
Membership and retail sales
Independently make decisions related to high level customer service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio
Enforce studio policies and procedures
Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
Any other duties as assigned
Compensation & Perks
Base hourly rate, participation in revenue sharing, and monthly sales bonus opportunities
