Job Summary:
The Restaurant Manager will train and assist staff in the operations of our celebrity chef driven restaurant. The ideal candidate will be entrusted to maintain high standards of service, and work with the culinary team to create exceptional dining experiences.
Promote the Restaurant Group and Regent’s service philosophy and style through our people attributes.
Ensure all guests receive responsive, professional, and gracious service.
Execute all tasks with efficiency, respect, and professionalism, fostering a teamwork-oriented environment.
Represent the restaurant professionally through effective communication with business partners.
Collaborate with management to maintain service standards aligned with Forbes Five-Star Standards.
Understand and implement all programs, procedures, and standards.
Maintain consistency in food preparation and service according to restaurant standards.
Handle cash and receipts according to accounting policies.
Fill in as needed to uphold guest service standards and operational efficiency.
Participate in daily and weekly operational meetings.
Assist in overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations.
Manage ambiance elements to meet management standards.
Conduct pre-shift meetings and organize staff training sessions.
Supervise dining room service and host department operations.
Provide feedback for continuous improvement in service quality and colleague satisfaction.
Support front-of-house team in all dining room service aspects.
Enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
Audit time clock and labor reports, resolving issues promptly.
Assist in colleague recruitment, selection, and training.
Maintain office organization and stock supplies.
Monitor and maintain restaurant systems.
Complete designated weekly assignments promptly.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in the luxury hotel industry preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
Culinary degree preferred.
Excellent communication and organization skills. Ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with a variety of business partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The annual pay range for this role is $80,000.00 to $85,000.00. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed at Regent Santa Monica Beach.
