Klaus Roofing Systems by Carolina Energy Conservation is expanding, and we are looking for a motivated, experienced roofing-sales/service professional to deliver exceptional roof repair, replacement, and inspection services to homeowners across Myrtle Beach, Conway, Little River, Charleston and surrounding South Carolina communities.
If you are skilled in in-home sales or roofing/contracting, with a focus on integrity, customer service, and high-quality workmanship - this could be a rewarding opportunity for you.
What You'll Do
Respond to
company-provided
leads and
self-generated referrals
for roofing services (repairs, replacements, new installations, inspections).
Conduct
on-site roof inspections
to assess damage, wear, age, and suitability for repair vs. full replacement.
Present tailored roof solutions – including high-performance roof systems using architectural shingles, underlayment, and full-system installs – backed by the standards of Klaus Roofing Systems.
Work with homeowners to explain benefits (durability, storm/weather protection, curb appeal, warranties) and guide them through financing or grant options (e.g., insurance claims, any available grant programs, when applicable).
Manage follow-up, scheduling, and communication with the project team to ensure smooth transition from sale/inspection to installation or repair.
Occasionally assist or inspect work during or after completion to ensure quality compliance.
Physical & Environmental Requirements To properly evaluate roofs and assist with installations or inspections, the candidate must be comfortable with / able to handle:
Working at heights: roofs, ladders, elevated surfaces
Walking roofs, climbing ladders, sometimes crawling into attic spaces for inspections or evaluation of underlying structures (vents, dampness, insulation) – as needed
Exposure to weather (sun, heat, rain, wind) and variable site conditions
Moderate lifting (materials, inspection tools, small parts, protective gear)
Frequent driving across service areas to reach multiple daily appointments (Myrtle Beach, Conway, Little River, Charleston and surrounding regions)
Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in
roofing, roof sales, home improvement, home inspections , or related construction/trade background
Demonstrates strong
in-home or on-site sales & communication skills
- able to explain technical roofing solutions clearly, build trust, and close deals ethically
Is
comfortable with physical work , climbing on roofs, and performing inspections – not strictly a desk job
Uses technology confidently (mobile apps, CRM, digital estimating tools) for inspections, estimates, and follow-up documentation
Is
organized, detail-oriented , able to manage scheduling, follow-up, and accurate documentation
Has
high integrity, professionalism , and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Is a
team player
who can coordinate with installation crews, office staff, and management to deliver seamless service

Compensation & Opportunity This role’s compensation is commission only and has OTE of $100k+ and will reflect your performance, sales, and ability to close jobs – especially full roof replacements, larger repairs, and bundled services (inspections + replacement + attic/insulation). Our best performing professionals can build a solid income over time.
Additional incentives may be available, especially for upsells (attic/insulation), referrals, or completing multiple jobs per week.
