Assistant Project Manager – Low Voltage Team
Salary Range:
$70,400.00 – $98,200.00 per year
Rosendin is one of the largest employee‑owned electrical contractors in the United States, employing over 7,000 people. The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the Systems Team on large‑scale electrical construction projects, assisting with planning, coordination, and administration of all low‑voltage and specialty systems.
What You'll Do
Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
Oversee project activities assigned by the Project Manager, coordinating problem resolution and ensuring adherence to company and project policies.
Maintain change orders, submittal and document control logs and prepare required logs for construction meetings.
Ensure accurate and timely contract submittals and issuance of subcontractor contracts.
Assemble and deliver Owner and Maintenance Manuals and keep the Warranty Log up to date.
Interact with subcontractors to obtain correct documentation and drawings for manuals.
Support project quality control plan and assist field personnel in the area of responsibility.
Monitor contractor activities and progress, and create Job Information Sheets and Job Files.
Prepare price change orders, project reports, and payroll information.
What You'll Need To Be Successful
Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods.
Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with managers, employees, vendors, and others.
Strong organizational, record‑keeping, and follow‑up skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under changing priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Oracle preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Self‑motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
What You Bring to Us
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a construction‑related role (training, education, or equivalent work experience accepted).
Travel Up to 25% travel.
Working Conditions
Primarily on active construction sites with extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and light lifting up to 30 lbs.
Work performed indoors with varying environmental conditions; noise level typically low to medium.
Compliance with ADA and applicable state law for reasonable accommodation.
