Water/Wastewater Engineer
We are currently searching for an experienced
Water/Wastewater Engineer
to support our
Southeast Region
located in any of our Florida offices.
To be considered, applicants must have, at minimum, a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering.
What You’ll Be Doing
Designing water transmission and distribution systems, pumping stations, conveyance systems, water treatment systems, water/wastewater distribution planning, master planning, and treatment plant rehabilitation and expansions
Managing project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and providing regular communication and guidance with less experienced staff
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external clients to contribute to the successful completion of assigned projects
Maintaining a high degree of quality in sets of plans and checking the work of others
Creating work plans and adhering to the budget set by the client while exercising strong project management knowledge
Attending meetings and communicating with clients, government entities, and regulatory agencies to fulfill all regulatory requirements related to projects
Monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules
What You Need To Have
Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering
Valid Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.) in Florida required
5‑10 years of relevant engineering design experience, including FDOT experience
Relevant municipal engineering experience designing pump stations, pipelines, and water/wastewater treatment facilities
Experience performing hydraulic modeling using programs such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater, etc.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening; if applicable, a post‑offer fit‑for‑duty evaluation
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)
