Hansen Talent Group is seeking a
Statistical Programming Analyst III
to support a project in a large enterprise in Columbia, SC.
This role focuses on statistical reporting, data analysis, and programming to support Medicare Part A/B and RRB claims reporting. The analyst will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and CMS to ensure accurate, insightful, and timely reporting in a highly regulated environment.
What You ll Do
Develop complex statistical analyses using standard, ad hoc, and data mining techniques
Design, build, and maintain database programs to extract, manipulate, and present data
Execute monthly standard/routine reporting following data warehouse table updates
Create ad hoc reports in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Develop complex sampling methodologies and perform statistical interpretation
Prepare charts, visualizations, and narrative reports explaining patterns and trends
Validate data integrity and perform quality checks on relational database tables
Assist with system lifecycle maintenance, change requests, and testing plans
Research new data sources and provide findings to leadership
Contribute to internal and external publications and documentation
What You Need
Statistical programming or statistical interpretation experience
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Experience performing statistical analysis through programming (not manual analysis)
Ability to explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
Strong documentation and written communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to changing tools, systems, and requirements
Required Technologies
Microsoft Office, SQL, Statistical programming experience (SAS and/or Python)
