Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial solutions, is seeking a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join their team. As a Licensed Journeyman Electrician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title Licensed Journeyman Electrician
Location Zealand, Michigan
Pay Range Up to $42.50 hourly (+ Quarterly bonuses)
Responsibilities
Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of instrument and electrical systems on complex manufacturing equipment
Perform instrument calibrations (pressure, temperature, flow, speed) using various tools
Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation ranging from pneumatic and analog to smart generation technology
Work with PLCs, HMIs, DSC (Delta‑V), and plant historian (PI) systems
Make informed decisions on equipment diagnosis and repairs to prevent product issues
Qualifications
Valid MI State Journeyman Electrical License
At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance practices
Ability to lift/move 10–35 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to safety and regulatory compliance
