How you’ll contribute
Provides quality ultrasound studies to include abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvis, breast, and testicular small parts for use by the radiologist in the diagnosis of patient illness.
Performs sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician delivery of care and services.
Maintains appropriate files, supplies and equipment.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Maintains appropriate supplies and a clean and orderly work area.
Notifies supervisor of needed items.
Maintains equipment to ensure accuracy and longevity.
Provides age-appropriate care to all patients.
Acts as a physician/staff consultant and educational resources for appropriateness and accuracy of scans.

What we’re looking for Applicants should have a current Michigan RDMS license and possess a degree from an accredited school. Additional requirements include:
Education: Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or School of Radiology Required; Graduate from an accredited RDMS program.
Licenses: ARRT OR RDMS Certification (or meets Education Requirements from accredited RDMS program).
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS).
ARRT should have one year of RDMS experience (preferred).
